Chill is the Air! and Asheville NC home of the Biltmore

Fall and the Chill in the air has come to the Catoctin Mountains. The furnace has been burning the wood George has been cutting and splitting. We are warm and it sure beats burning gas or Oil!

Spent the weekend with Diane in Asheville NC with some of the most beautiful people in the world. It's a tie between Texas and NC people, so I will try the Texas visit in February. Christmas has already come to the Biltmore Inn.
We toured the house and actually got to sit through 'wreath' making idea's in the gardens. We saw a tremendously large Gingerbread house in the kitchen of the Biltmore House. We missed the gingerbread houses at Grove Park, but had three drinks for $39.95, not a cheap place.

Kim was a busy bee and had to work most of the weekend but Nathanael spent all day with us on Saturday. Of course, Kimberly Ann joined us an every moment she had free. We strolled through the crafts and art down by the River and visited downtown Asheville and Wall Street, the home of Nathanael's Mountain Express. Harvest Records had the display of the greatest artist in Western North Carolina.

I highly recommend the Admiral for dining and relaxing. I must note that from the outside of the cement brick building you would NEVER expect the quality of the food presented by such a delightful waitresse and the chef behind the unimpressive door.

The weather was great, the friends and family were a delight. Returned to Chilly Maryland and back to reality of WORK WORK WORK..
